SRI 1st turn-key project was a 115 kV transmission line construction for EGAT in Chiangmai province.
The company was then awarded 5 more projects in the same year for both 115 kV and 230 kV transmission lines.

Awarded the biggest turnkey contract (40 mUSD) for 132 kV substation and transmission line in Sri Lanka.

SRI underwent a major corporate restructuring. The Asia Rising Group took over majority of the shares from the old shareholders and became the largest shareholder of the Company. Consequently, the new Board of Directors was nominated. However, the Management Team remained the same.
Registered capital was increased to 105 million Baht to support the growth of the business.
Business units were reorganized to enhance work efficiency and prepare the Company for an active participation for works in the market.

Thanks to a renewed trust by the partner banks, SRI's banking facility was greatly extended in line with its ambitious business growth.
Revenue and business volume leaped significantly by 260%. At 2012-end, SRI registered a net profit of over 20 million Baht in its first year after the restructuring.
SRI moved to a brand-new office on Ekkamai road with bigger space and newly purchased equipment and assets.
Vehicle fleet was completely renewed and personnel was increased by 20%.
